Apple, Realme Tech Showcase 15-Micrometer Precision Assembly Line at Supply Chain Expo

According to Zhitong Finance, on June 22, Apple and Realme Tech (02018) showcased precision manufacturing solutions at the fourth China International Supply Chain Promotion Expo in Beijing. Realme Tech's core exhibit featured a magnetically levitated intelligent assembly production line with assembly errors controlled to 15 micrometers—one-quarter the thickness of human hair—paired with an AI-powered full-process inspection system that detects product sensitivity deviations in real-time and automatically sends process adjustment commands.

Realme Tech has supplied Apple for 18 years, delivering over 8.6 billion units across iPhones, computers, watches, and wireless earbuds. The system integrates a proprietary AI anodizing model that autonomously adjusts dye concentration, temperature, and pH values, eliminating traditional manual color-matching inefficiencies. In sustainability, Realme's energy management system achieved 15%-30% carbon reduction at pilot facilities, with water reclamation rates reaching 85%.
