Beijing Launches AI+ Action Plan, Introduces Embodied Intelligence Support Policies for H2 2026

On July 21, the Beijing Economic and Information Commission announced it will deepen implementation of its 'AI+' action plan in the second half of 2026 to accelerate digital economy development. The city will introduce specialized support policies for embodied AI enterprises, providing computing power and dataset resources to accelerate core technology iterations including embodied large models and motion control. The initiatives also cover AI applications across industrial optimization, medical diagnostics, smart translation, and food safety monitoring.
