According to Digital Asset, Binance rolled out three SK Hynix-based products in June and July, including perpetual futures (SKHYNIXUSDT and SKHYUSDT) and tokenized securities (SKHYB) tracking the South Korean chipmaker's stock and U.S.-listed ADRs. SKHYNIXUSDT prohibits Korean traders, while the other two products permit them based on underlying asset differences.
On July 13 alone, SKHYNIXUSDT recorded approximately $3.554 billion in trading volume, ranking third on Binance's futures market. The perpetual futures contracts allow up to 50x leverage, carrying significant liquidation risk with just 2% price movements. SKHYB directly holds SK Hynix ADRs on Nasdaq through Binance's subsidiary Alpaca Securities, with dividends reinvested after 30% U.S. withholding tax deduction.
