Bitmine Buys $41M in ETH on Wednesday, Adding 25,000 Tokens as Ethereum Treasury Expands

According to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain, Bitmine purchased 25,000 ETH on Wednesday at approximately 11:22 a.m. ET, worth $41 million. The funds were transferred from a hot wallet managed by BitGo, Bitmine's custody partner. Over the past three days, Bitmine has acquired 125,000 ETH worth $205 million. The firm's total Ethereum holdings now stand at 5.54 million ETH, representing 4.59% of ether's circulating supply and placing it 92% of the way toward its target of accumulating 5% of total supply.
