ByteDance's Douban AI Launches Task Mode with Web and PPT Generation; Expert Mode Upgraded

According to monitoring by Beating, ByteDance's AI application Douban has rolled out Task Mode across users, replacing its mode options with Quick, Expert, and Task modes while upgrading its thinking capability to Expert Mode. Task Mode enables autonomous execution across task decomposition, planning, tool invocation, and result delivery. Users can input clear objectives, and Douban automatically performs web searches, content generation, webpage creation, or PPT generation in the background. Core features include zero-code webpage generation for personal portfolios, one-click full PPT creation, and data visualization analysis with automatic chart generation from uploaded Excel files. The platform also supports scheduled tasks for batch report generation and data organization.

Douban offers free basic Q&A and conversation, with premium features for PPT generation, data analysis, software development, and financial analysis. Pricing includes three tiers: Standard at 68 yuan monthly or 688 yuan annually, Enhanced at 200 yuan monthly or 2,048 yuan annually, and Professional at 500 yuan monthly or 5,088 yuan annually.
