Cholera Surge in Nigeria's Borno State Hits 12,000+ Cases, 90+ Deaths as of June 18

According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), cholera cases have surged in Borno State in northern Nigeria as the rainy season arrives. As of June 18, over 12,000 confirmed cases and more than 90 deaths have been reported.
