CZ: The Biggest Problem in the US Crypto Market Is Not Policy, But Lack of Competition

Binance founder CZ Zhao Changpeng said at the DC Blockchain Conference that the current U.S. government’s friendliness toward the crypto industry has exceeded his expectations, and the U.S. is once again becoming a hub for crypto innovation.

However, CZ pointed out the biggest current problem in the U.S. market—insufficient competition. U.S. exchanges charge fees far higher than the international level, and consumers in the country cannot access the best global prices. Major liquidity pools have also moved overseas.

He believes this issue is not difficult to solve. The U.S. has enough institutional funds, talent reserves, and an innovative foundation. Once competition intensifies, becoming the world’s largest crypto liquidity center is only a matter of time.
