According to Bloomberg, on July 25, Chinese AI company DeepSeek told potential investors that it has suspended its Series B round, citing co-founder Liang Wenfeng's dissatisfaction with media coverage of private conversations during the Series A financing process. The Series A, completed in June, raised $7 billion from investors including Tencent, CATL, and China's national AI fund. The Series B was originally planned to raise at least 10 billion yuan at a pre-money valuation of 480 billion yuan.
