According to Yonhapnews, Ecopro BM submitted its first amended equity offering disclosure on July 24, maintaining the planned issue size of 1.2 trillion won (approximately 9.909 million shares) despite regulatory requests for clarification from South Korea's Financial Supervisory Service on July 14.
The company expanded its disclosure filing from 456 pages to 820 pages, supplementing 20 investment risk factors including business risks and rationale for the capital raise. The amendments detail the company's plan to acquire an Indonesian nickel refining company for 765 billion won, explaining the strategic importance of securing non-China supply chains as a long-term competitive factor despite Ecopro BM having no prior direct nickel procurement experience. The amended disclosure takes effect on August 8.
