According to Foresight News, Ethereum Improvement Proposal ERC-8126 has been officially released, introducing a standardized verification framework for AI Agents. The proposal, co-authored by Leigh Cronian and Chris Johnson with contributions from Virtuals Protocol, builds on ERC-8004 (identity) and ERC-8183 (commerce) to form a three-layer infrastructure for the AI Agent economy.
ERC-8126 incorporates five verification dimensions: Ethereum Token Verification (ETV), Media Content Verification (MCV), Solidity Code Verification (SCV), Web Application Verification (WAV), and Wallet Verification (WV). Each verification type returns a risk score ranging from 0 to 100, classified into five risk levels. The framework supports privacy-preserving verification through zero-knowledge proofs and includes an optional extension interface for quantum cryptography verification.
