Ford Q2 U.S. Sales Drop 10.3%, EV Demand Falls 40.7%

According to Ford, the automaker reported a 10.3% decline in second-quarter U.S. new vehicle sales on Thursday, with sales totaling 549,200 units compared to 612,095 a year earlier. Pure electric vehicle sales fell 40.7% during the quarter, while F-Series truck sales declined 11% as the company ramps up production following supply chain disruptions from aluminum supplier fires in late 2025. Ford said customer demand remains strong, with supply expected to recover more fully in the second half of 2026.
