FSC Chief Convenes Asset Management CEOs on July 13, Demands ETF Ad Crackdown

On July 13, South Korea's Financial Supervisory Commission (FSC) chief Lee Chan-jin convened a meeting with asset management company CEOs to discuss ETF market practices and regulatory oversight. At the meeting, Lee strongly urged asset managers to eliminate false and exaggerated advertising in ETF products and enforce substantive compliance in public disclosures. The discussions also covered the 2026 review results of asset management companies' exercise of voting rights and shareholder rights.
