According to ChainCatcher, FTX will distribute approximately $900 million in its fifth bankruptcy distribution on July 31 to eligible creditors. Claimants in categories 5A, 5B, 6A, 6B, and 7 who completed claim confirmation, KYC verification, tax form submission, and sanctions screening by the June 16 deadline, and successfully registered with BitGo, Kraken, or Payoneer are eligible to receive distributions within one to three business days starting July 31.
However, creditors from 45 jurisdictions including China, Russia, Ukraine, Cuba, and Iran remain excluded due to unavailable distribution service providers. FTX noted that even if service coverage expands in the future, prior payments cannot be retroactively adjusted. Cumulative distribution ratios to date are 105% for categories 5A and 5B, 103% for categories 6A and 6B, and 120% for category 7, based on court-approved claim amounts rather than current market values.
