According to Goldman Sachs' Q1 2026 Form 13F filing, the bank fully liquidated all reported XRP ETF and trust positions worth approximately $154 million in the first quarter, after holding combined XRP and Solana exposure through issuers including Bitwise, Grayscale, and Franklin Templeton in Q4 2025. The exit removes a major institutional demand source as XRP trades near $1.18 in mid-June 2026, roughly 60% below its July 2025 peak.

The CLARITY Act, which would permanently codify XRP's digital commodity classification into federal law, cleared the Senate Banking Committee on May 14, 2026, by a bipartisan 15 to 9 vote. Prediction market traders on Polymarket price the probability of the bill's passage in 2026 at 62%, with contracts around a $2.00 XRP target drawing over $175,000 in total volume.
