According to Grayscale's latest analysis, Bitcoin's bear market could extend until September or October 2026 based on its historical four-year cycle patterns. The asset manager noted that BTC has historically reached a major low approximately 12 months after forming a cycle peak; with Bitcoin reaching above $124,000 in October 2025, the comparable timeframe would place the next potential bottom around September-October 2026. Bitcoin is currently trading near $65,500, down approximately 48% from its record.
Grayscale stressed that the September-October window is a scenario based on historical patterns rather than a firm price forecast. Galaxy Digital's earlier research estimated a historically comparable but less severe cycle bottom could fall between $40,000 and $46,000.
