Haseeb Qureshi Revises Open-Source Model Gap View, Praises Zhipu GLM 5.2 Performance

According to BlockBeats, on June 18, Dragonfly managing partner Haseeb Qureshi revised his long-held view that open-source models would fall further behind closed-source models due to data, hardware, and distillation constraints. Zhipu's GLM has reached another level, he stated, with outstanding benchmark test performance and strong early user feedback.

Qureshi added that he is currently running his Hermes Agent on GLM 5.2 via the AskVenice API and will share usage insights later.
