Hong Kong Hang Seng Index Drops 124 Points at Open, Loses 23,000 Level

Today morning, Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index opens lower by 124 points (0.54%), failing to hold above the 23,000 level and closing at 22,952 points. The National Index (China Enterprises Index) declined 33 points (0.44%) to 7,575, while the Tech Index fell 34 points (0.78%) to 4,371.

Among tech stocks, NetEase leads blue chips with a 3.3% gain at 188 Hong Kong dollars, while Alibaba, Baidu, Tencent, JD.com, Meituan, and Xiaomi all open lower by 0.5% to 3.2%. In IPO activity, six new stocks launched today, with Scitech Parking Solutions surging 1.8 times to 110.1 Hong Kong dollars and ZhiKe Wenqu rising 81.2% to 110 Hong Kong dollars.
