Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index Rises 510 Points to 25,072 on Tech Rally, Alibaba Up 5.2%

Today (July 20), Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index climbed 510 points to 25,072 points (up 2.08%) in morning trading, crossing the 25,000-point level amid a broad rally in tech stocks. The National Index rose 2.75% to 8,360 points, while the Tech Index gained 2.91% to 4,757 points. Alibaba led the advance with a 5.2% gain to 118.4 Hong Kong dollars, followed by Tencent (up 3.6% to 478 dollars), Meituan (up 3.8% to 86.8 dollars), and Baidu (up 3.0% to 109.7 dollars). Morning trading volume reached 165.686 billion Hong Kong dollars.
