Ink Upgrades to Optimism Enterprise Fully Managed Service, Signs Multi-Year Partnership on June 24

According to The Block, Kraken-incubated Ethereum layer-2 network Ink upgraded to Optimism's OP Enterprise Fully Managed service and signed a multi-year partnership on June 24. Optimism will operate Ink's mainnet production infrastructure, while Ink Foundation focuses on ecosystem and financial product development. Ink also becomes an OP Enterprise design partner, contributing to programmable block construction, sub-day Ethereum withdrawals, and sequencer compliance modules.

Ink's on-chain applications generate approximately $40 million in annual revenue. The network targets 400 megagas throughput and 100-millisecond block times by end of 2026.
