According to industry data center reports on June 13, 2026, Intel announced an additional $2.6 billion investment to expand its operations in Vietnam, bringing total cumulative investment in the country to $4.1 billion. The facility, established in 2006, has become Intel's largest global assembly and testing base, with headcount growing from hundreds to approximately 6,500 employees. Over the past two decades, Intel Products Vietnam has produced over 4 billion units and generated over $110 billion in export value, representing a critical contributor to Vietnam's high-tech manufacturing sector.
