Iran Demands U.S. Ceasefire Commitment Must Cover Israel on May 4

According to BlockBeats, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Baghaei stated on May 4 that any U.S. commitment to ceasefire must also cover Israel as its regional proxy. Baghaei emphasized that if a ceasefire agreement or war-ending arrangements are reached in future negotiations, American guarantees must extend to cover its regional partners. He also reiterated that Iran’s policy toward Israel remains unchanged and Iran does not recognize the Israeli regime.
