According to Guru Club on July 14, job search platform Job51 released its 2026 Artificial Intelligence Talent Insights based on recruitment and job-seeking data from the past year. AI-related positions median monthly salary stands at 25,340 yuan, with research and development directors averaging 55,000 yuan monthly and algorithm roles averaging above 28,000 yuan. General AI and algorithm positions comprise nearly 80% of total openings, while robotics and large language model roles rank second and third respectively.

Over 40% of positions require a master's degree or higher, with 60% requiring 5-10 years of vertical industry-specific experience. The Yangtze River Delta and Greater Bay Area account for nearly 70% of national job demand, with Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, and Hangzhou leading in both recruitment volume and salary offerings.
