Lebanon's Aoun Sets Five Conditions for Ending Hostilities with Israel on June 11

According to Lebanese President's Office on June 11, President Michel Aoun stated that Lebanon will end its hostile stance toward Israel only after five conditions are met: Israeli military withdrawal, cessation of Israeli attacks, Lebanese military deployment completion, return of internally displaced persons, and release of detained Lebanese personnel. Aoun made these remarks during a meeting with representatives of Lebanese civil society organizations. The president reaffirmed that Lebanon will continue current negotiations.
