Lenovo Warns DRAM and NAND Prices Will Remain Elevated Through 2030 and Beyond

DRAM-6.47%

According to BlockBeats, Lenovo warned today at ISC 2026 that DRAM and NAND flash memory prices have entered a structural uptrend cycle and will remain significantly elevated through 2030 and beyond, even as major manufacturers like Samsung, SK Hynix, and Micron continue capacity expansion. Lenovo's analysis indicates that production increases cannot close the supply-demand gap, with Micron already stating it cannot meet demand from strategic customers.

The price surge will likely flow downstream to consumer electronics including PCs, gaming consoles, and smartphones. Lenovo cautioned that consumers face sustained device price increases over the next decade as elevated memory costs are passed to end products.
