Liquidations Hit $1.419 Billion in 24 Hours, Long Positions Account for $1.118 Billion

According to Coinglass data cited by ChainCatcher, $1.419 billion in crypto positions were liquidated in the past 24 hours, with long liquidations reaching $1.118 billion and short liquidations at $301 million. Bitcoin longs saw $495 million liquidated against $146 million in shorts, while Ethereum experienced $274 million in long liquidations and $75.6 million in short liquidations.

Over the same period, 199,611 traders were liquidated globally. The largest single liquidation, worth $38.0525 million, occurred in Hyperliquid's BTC-USD market.
