Marvell Surges 7% as Amazon Plans to Sell Trainium AI Chips Externally

According to Bloomberg, on June 18, Marvell Technology (MRVL) closed up 7.27% at $310.58 after Amazon announced plans to sell its Trainium AI chips to external enterprises for use in their own data centers. Amazon CEO Andy Jassy previously indicated the chip division could generate approximately $50 billion in annualized revenue if operated independently and sold to both AWS and third parties. Marvell, a key design and manufacturing partner for AWS Trainium chips, is positioned to benefit directly from this strategic expansion.
