Meta CEO Zuckerberg Denies Overcapacity Concerns; Market Demand for AI Compute Is Extremely High

According to media interviews, Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg recently denied claims that the company has excess computing capacity, stating that market demand for AI computing resources is extremely high. Zuckerberg indicated that Meta is considering renting out portions of its AI infrastructure to external parties, as external markets offer very high prices for compute capacity. He noted that Meta plans to increase its total computing capacity to 14GW by 2027, approximately double its current deployment levels. Zuckerberg emphasized that currently, Meta's computing resources are fully utilized and that the company is evaluating various cloud service models, including options similar to Amazon Web Services.
