Morningstar DBRS downgraded Belgium's rating outlook to negative due to "weak fiscal prospects," while maintaining the country's AA credit rating, which ranks eight notches above junk status. The agency cited concerns over the nation's budget deficit, projecting Belgium's fiscal shortfall will remain the largest in the eurozone during the forecast period, despite government austerity measures and pension and labor market reforms.
