Murata Raises Power Inductor Prices 50%, Taiyo Yuden Hikes up to 150% Starting July 1

According to analyst Jukan, starting July 1, Murata will increase its full lineup of power inductor factory prices by 50%, while Taiyo Yuden will raise prices for supply-limited power inductor models by 150% and standard models by 35%. The latest price hikes extend the passive component shortage that began in late 2025, now spreading from tantalum capacitors to resistors, MLCCs, ferrite beads, and power inductors.
