Musk Predicts SpaceX $1 Trillion Revenue by 2030 After IPO, Wall Street Estimates $330B–$486B

Following SpaceX's record-breaking IPO on Nasdaq, CEO Elon Musk predicted the company will generate $1 trillion in annual revenue by 2030 or 2031, claiming he would be surprised if it missed that target. However, Wall Street analysts largely dismissed the projection, with Goldman Sachs forecasting 2030 revenue of $474 billion, Morgan Stanley $330 billion, and Evercore ISI $486 billion—roughly one-third to one-half of Musk's goal.

SpaceX reported $18.67 billion in 2025 revenue but posted a net loss of $4.94 billion, driven by $20.7 billion in capital expenditures, with nearly 76% allocated to AI infrastructure. Starlink, the satellite internet unit, contributed 61% of revenue in 2025 and now accounts for nearly two-thirds of company earnings, with over 17 million global subscribers.
