Musk's SpaceX Stake Worth Over $1 Trillion Following Record IPO on June 12

According to CNBC, Elon Musk's stake in SpaceX surpassed $1 trillion following the company's record-breaking initial public offering on June 12, 2026. SpaceX shares were priced at $135 and rose 37% after their historic debut, pushing the company's market cap to $2.43 trillion.

Beyond Musk, several other SpaceX shareholders saw significant gains. Valor Equity Partners holds a stake worth approximately $96.6 billion, PayPal cofounder Luke Nosek holds $6.3 billion, SpaceX President and COO Gwynne Shotwell holds $2.4 billion, and CFO Bret Johnsen holds $1.2 billion. The IPO also created thousands of new millionaires among early investors and company executives.
