NATO Cannot Reach Consensus with U.S. on Iran Military Strikes: Belgian PM

According to Jin10, Belgian Prime Minister Bart De Wever stated on July 8 at the NATO summit in Ankara that NATO could not reach consensus with the United States on military strikes against Iran. De Wever emphasized that this issue is not a NATO matter and does not contribute to NATO unity, as the NATO treaty's collective defense clause requires member states to defend each other when attacked, but does not obligate all members to participate when one member unilaterally decides to strike another country.
