According to Beating monitoring, OpenAI's Codex encountered 3 reliability failures in the past 24 hours, prompting Codex lead Thibault Sottiaux to announce on X that all paid-plan users' usage credits have been reset as compensation.

Developers also reported auto-compression errors causing connection interruptions before task completion, and Git status recognition failures where Codex cached outdated data and crashed repeatedly after restart.
