According to Yonhapnews, Palantir’s Maven Smart System (MSS) played a major role in striking over 1,000 targets during the first 48 hours of the U.S. military operation against Iran. The U.S. Department of Defense has increasingly integrated AI systems into military decision-making processes, with Palantir serving as a key defense technology partner. During a Palantir conference held in mid-March, the DoD’s Chief Digital and AI Officer directly praised Maven as a system that “revolutionized operational workflow,” stating that commanders “only need to click” and that Maven is the first system that improves daily.
