Paytm's UPI Gross Transaction Value Jumps 45% YoY in Q1 to 590,000 Crore Rupees

According to Press Trust of India, Paytm's UPI gross transaction value jumped 45% year-on-year to 590,000 crore rupees ($6.1 billion) in the fiscal first quarter, driven by app redesign and AI-led features. Monthly transacting users rose by 6 million to 80 million.

Operating revenue climbed 28% to 24.5 billion rupees ($254 million), while EBITDA surged 182% to 2 billion rupees ($21 million) and profit after tax increased 79% to 2.2 billion rupees ($22.8 million).
