Ripple Secures EU MiCA Approval for Crypto Services Across 30 EEA Countries on June 23

According to Ripple's official disclosure on June 23, 2026, the company received preliminary authorization for a Crypto Asset Service Provider (CASP) license under the European Union's Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) regulation, enabling it to deliver regulated cryptoasset services across all 30 countries of the European Economic Area. The authorization was issued as a "Green Light Letter" and remains subject to final conditions before full approval. Following full authorization, banks, fintech firms, and corporate clients will gain access to Ripple's crypto asset and stablecoin payments infrastructure through a single integration. The pending CASP license is expected to operate alongside Ripple's existing EU Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licence, forming a combined regulatory framework that will make Ripple fully MiCA-compliant upon final approval.
