According to Yonhapinfomax, Samsung E&A posted operating profit of 215.3 billion won for Q2 2026, up 19.06% year-over-year, driven by semiconductor factory construction work from Samsung Electronics. Revenue for the quarter reached 2.53 trillion won, a 16.32% increase from the same period last year, despite delays in new orders from its chemical engineering division.
The company expects to materialize a 1 trillion won Saudi water treatment project in Q2-Q3 and anticipate additional Middle East orders including the Saudi SAN-6 ammonia project and Qatar urea contract in the second half. Target prices from South Korean brokerages have been raised, with IBK increasing its target from 35,000 won to 60,000 won and Kiwoom raising its target to 72,000 won, citing the semiconductor construction cycle.
