According to South Korean media, Samsung Electronics has raised wafer foundry prices by approximately 15% for 4nm and 5nm processes, as well as some 8nm automotive chips, for new customers. This follows reports that Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) notified major clients including NVIDIA, Apple, and AMD of planned price increases of 5% to 10% for advanced processes such as 3nm, 5nm, and 7nm.
