SBF's Anthropic Stake Now Worth $77.2B as Company Reaches $965B Valuation

According to BlockBeats, on June 8, SBF's early stake in Anthropic—obtained through Alameda Research in April 2022—is now valued at approximately $77.2 billion following the company's latest H-round funding. Anthropic completed a $65 billion Series H round led by Altimeter and Sequoia in May 2026, lifting its valuation to $965 billion, surpassing OpenAI for the first time. SBF had invested $500 million to secure 8% equity when Anthropic was valued at $2.5 billion. However, after FTX's collapse in November 2022, bankruptcy trustees sold the stake in two tranches during 2024, netting only $1.3 billion—a gap of $75.9 billion between the sale price and today's valuation.
