SecondFi Confirms 16M ADA Stolen in Recent Security Incident; Advises Against Restoring Seed Phrases

According to Foresight News, Cardano ecosystem project SecondFi confirmed a security incident occurred recently, with 16 million ADA transferred from 374 addresses. Three transfers were conducted by external attackers. The project does not recommend users restore affected wallets' seed phrases to other Cardano wallets, as this will not reduce security risk and may trigger additional exposure when signing transactions.

SecondFi has transferred approximately 129 million ADA to independent third-party custody for safekeeping and engaged external auditors to verify assets before returning them to affected addresses. The project urges users to await official guidance and submit support tickets only; do not follow community suggestions.
