Semiconductor ETFs Drop 20-61% but Attract $24.7B in New Inflows on July 17

According to ETFdotcom, on July 17, major semiconductor ETFs experienced significant price declines since their June 22 peak, with Roundhill Memory ETF (DRAM) falling 40%, iShares Semiconductor ETF (SOXX) down 24%, and 3x leveraged SOXL plunging 61%. Vanguard Semiconductor ETF (SMH) declined 20%. Despite the selloff, the four ETFs combined attracted $24.7 billion in new inflows, with DRAM receiving $8.8 billion, SOXX and SOXL each taking in $8.5 billion and $5.1 billion respectively, and SMH capturing $2.3 billion.
