Seoul Mayor Fails to Deliver Real Estate Policy Remarks at Cabinet Meeting on July 14

According to Yonhapinfomax, on July 14, Seoul Mayor Oh Se-hoon was unable to fully present real estate policy recommendations during a cabinet meeting due to time constraints and limited speaking opportunities. Mayor Oh had submitted a written proposal to the government addressing housing redevelopment issues, including measures to raise loan-to-value ratios and expand floor area ratios for private projects. The mayor expressed regret over the situation, stating he had submitted over 10 policy recommendations to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport without receiving substantive response. The Blue House responded that it would carefully review the mayor's proposal, adding that no separate meeting is currently planned.
