South Korean Retail Investors Snap Up $10.3B of Samsung, SK Hynix in July as Stock Prices Fall

According to Korea Exchange, during the first 10 trading days of July (July 1-14), South Korean retail investors made net purchases totaling 13.45 trillion Korean won in Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix shares, despite both stocks declining 19-25% in the period. The buying spree absorbed foreign investors' continued selling pressure, with individual investors absorbing the majority of the outflow volume.
