South Korea's KOSPI Plunges 8.95% to 6,806.93 on July 13 as Samsung, SK Hynix Lead Losses

According to Financial News, South Korea's KOSPI index plunged 8.95% on July 13, closing at 6,806.93 and declining 669.01 points. The benchmark has lost more than 25% in three weeks since hitting a record high of 9,114.55 on June 22. Samsung Electronics fell 10.70% and SK Hynix dropped 15.37%, leading the decline, with circuit breakers triggered during trading. The RSI for KOSPI, Samsung, and SK Hynix all fell below 40, while individual investors bought net 3.88 trillion Korean won; foreign investors and institutional investors sold net 1.68 trillion and 2.22 trillion won respectively.
