According to market data, the S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 closed 0.1% and 0.4% lower on Wednesday respectively, while the Dow Jones rose 0.4%. The declines marked the third consecutive session of weakness amid investor concerns about the longevity of the AI boom.

Micron Technologies shares soared 11% after-hours following Q3 results that exceeded expectations by a wide margin, with the company providing a strong outlook for the upcoming quarter amid surging memory chip demand. The strong results pushed the Nasdaq 100 ETF up 1.5% in after-hours trading. Additionally, Alphabet is set to replace Verizon in the Dow Jones Industrial Average.
