Spot gold fell 2.93% to $3,999.06 per ounce during New York close on Monday (July 13), briefly breaking below the key psychological level of $4,000 for the first time. COMEX gold futures declined 2.60% to $4,006.90 per ounce, with intraday lows reaching $3,992.90. Spot silver dropped 3.77% to $57.6062 per ounce, while COMEX silver futures fell 3.81% to $57.910 per ounce.
