Story Rebrands to DATA Foundation, Integrates 1.1B Data Entries from Kled; Announces Toss Partnership

According to Odaily, Story officially rebranded to DATA Foundation today (June 26), with existing IP holders receiving DATA tokens on a 1:1 basis. The project launched Trace, a public audit platform for AI training data positioning itself as an "Etherscan for AI training data." DATA token surged 28% following the announcement.

DATA has completed technical integration with Kled, the world's largest voluntary AI data marketplace, bringing 1.1 billion authorized data entries onto the DATA Network with an expected 10 million new data registrations daily. Separately, Poseidon, a DATA ecosystem project backed by a16z and having raised $15 million, announced a strategic partnership with South Korean fintech app Toss (approximately 30 million users). Poseidon's data contribution app Numo will launch as a mini-program on Toss, allowing users to earn on-chain rewards for voice, image, and behavior data contributions without downloading additional software.
