TeraWulf signed a 20-year lease with Anthropic at its Justified Data campus in Hawesville, Kentucky on July 6, expected to generate US$19 billion in contracted revenue over the contract term.

The facility will host approximately 401 megawatts of critical IT load, with initial capacity coming in the second half of 2027 and full build-out by early 2028. TeraWulf shares closed up 4.86% at US$22.21 on the announcement, while AI-mining peers Cipher and IREN gained 8.43% and 13.11% respectively, as investors bet on miners repurposing idle power infrastructure toward high-performance computing.
