Thailand's BOI Approves US$1.99 Billion in Nine Investment Projects on July 8, Including US$235.2M GPU Server Deal

According to Thailand's Board of Investment, the agency approved nine investment projects worth US$1.99 billion on July 8 across AI, advanced electronics, aviation, clean energy, and food sectors. The largest technology approvals included DataSection (Thailand)'s US$235.2 million investment in graphics processing unit servers for data hosting in Bangkok and Pathum Thani, and circuit board-material plants from Doosan Electro-Materials (Thailand) and Taiwan Union Technology (Thailand) worth a combined US$369.4 million. Additional approvals included Nestlé (Thai)'s coffee plant expansion, Thai Airways International's lease of eight passenger aircraft, and two wind power projects.
