Two Convicted in Arson Plot Against UK PM Keir Starmer; Russian 'El Money' Mastermind Still Unidentified

According to court verdicts and Counter Terrorism Policing London, on June 15, Ukrainian Roman Lavrynovych, 22, and Romanian Stanislav Carpiuc, 27, were convicted of conspiracy to damage property after a seven-and-a-half-hour jury deliberation. The two men carried out a series of arson attacks on properties and a vehicle linked to Prime Minister Keir Starmer in May 2025, including setting fire to his former Toyota Rav4 in Kentish Town and two houses, one of which was inhabited by the Prime Minister's sister-in-law and her family. The attacks posed a serious threat to life. The anonymous Russian-speaking figure behind the plot, identified only by the Telegram handle 'El Money,' offered 3,000 pounds in cryptocurrency for the attacks to be filmed and publicized. The mastermind's true identity remains unidentified.
